Chelsea Will Win Premier League – Mourinho

Jose Mourinho, Chelsea manager, on Friday said his club would win the Premier League.

This reassurance comes after criticisms that greeted the club’s exit from the Champions League.

Paris St-Germain, PSG, knocked the Blues out of the Champions League in midweek but the team still dictates proceedings in the Premier League with five points clear and 11 more games to play.

“The people who went out last Wednesday are the same who’ve been top of the league since day one. They are the same people who won the Capital One Cup and the same people who are going to win the Premier League. Chelsea will win the Premier League title this season,” Mourinho said.

While stressing that his main objective is to win the Premier League, he said the club’s position is such an enviable one for many teams in the league.

“What we can do now for our club is to win the Premier League. Our situation is good. Everybody would love to be in our position. If we win the Premier League and the League Cup it’s a brilliant season,” he added.
