Davido Makes History Again! Sells Out Enugu’s Michael Okpara Square with Over 20,000 Fans in Electrifying Show
Afrobeats icon Davido sells out Enugu’s 20,000-capacity Michael Okpara Square, following his back-to-back sold-out concerts in Uyo and Yola on his Timeless Tour.
Afrobeats superstar Davido has continued his record-breaking run across Nigeria, selling out the 20,000-capacity Michael Okpara Square in Enugu during his latest stop on the ongoing Timeless Tour, just days after filling up two major stadiums in Uyo and Yola.
The Enugu concert, held on Saturday night, drew massive crowds of fans from across the Southeast, turning the venue into a sea of lights and excitement as Davido delivered back-to-back hits from his Timeless album and other chart-topping classics.
This performance comes shortly after the 30,000-capacity Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo and Mahmud Ribadu Square in Yola were both sold out — making Davido one of the few Nigerian artists to sell out three major venues in different regions within one week.
“Enugu, una too much! I love you all forever!” Davido shouted on stage, thanking fans for their energy and support throughout his nationwide tour.
The concert featured surprise appearances from rising stars and veteran performers, including Peruzzi, Logos Olori, and May D, sending the crowd into wild excitement.
Fans took to social media to share photos and videos of the massive turnout, with hashtags like #DavidoInEnugu, #TimelessTour, and #OBO trending across X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.
Entertainment analysts say Davido’s ability to attract such large crowds across Nigeria underscores his unmatched star power and enduring influence in Africa’s music scene.
“Davido is proving that Afrobeats is not just a Lagos phenomenon—it’s a national and global movement,” said media critic Tunde Adeshina.
The Timeless Tour continues next weekend with expected stops in Port Harcourt and Abuja, where organizers anticipate another sold-out crowd.
