Three explosive devices went off on Tuesday February 17, near the All Progressives Congress, APC, rally ground in Okrika, Rivers State.
The explosives were said to have been planted somewhere behind the Okrika Secondary school venue of the rally while members of the party had gathered waiting for the party leadership.
Hundreds of party members were said to have scampered for safety after the explosives went off.
