Babatunde Fashola, governor of Lagos State, has commiserated with the wife and family members of Remi Olowude, the CEO and Executive Vice-Chairman of Industrial and General Insurance, IGI, over the death of the Insurance icon.
Fashola described the passage of Olowude as a great loss to the insurance industry in particular and the world of entrepreneurship in general.
He said Olowude contributed, in no small measure, to the development of the country’s Insurance sector and the creation of economic opportunities for the teeming skilled workforce in the industry, prayed for the repose of his soul.
