The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has clinched three prestigious awards at the 2025 SERVICOM MDAs’ Awards, in recognition of its outstanding commitment to citizen-centred service delivery and excellence in public sector performance.

The awards were presented on December 17, 2025, during the annual SERVICOM Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) Awards ceremony, which celebrates institutions and public office holders that demonstrate exceptional service to citizens.

At the event, the Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa, received a personal commendation plaque for his unwavering support and leadership in promoting citizen-focused service delivery across the agency.
In addition, NITDA was presented with a Special Recognition Award by the SERVICOM Office, Presidency, for its sustained efforts in strengthening the connection between government and citizens through efficient, transparent, and quality service delivery.

Further underscoring its performance, the agency was also named Second Best Performing Public Service Unit (PSU) – Team B in the MDAs category, a ranking based on SERVICOM’s rigorous assessment criteria, including timeliness, transparency, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.

The triple honours highlight NITDA’s growing reputation as a leading force in Nigeria’s digital transformation agenda and a benchmark for effective public service delivery in the federal public service.
SERVICOM officials commended the agency for leveraging technology to improve service standards and enhance citizen experience, noting that NITDA’s performance reflects best practices in accountability and efficiency within government institutions.
