NOA sensitises voters

Voters in Lagos State have been advised to secure their permanent voter’s card, PVC in readiness for the 2015 general elections. The advice was given during a sensitisation campaign by the national orientation agency, NOA in Somolu/Bariga local government area, on November 26.
At the programme, which was attended by dignitaries from the local government, including Udom C.U, divisional police officer, DPO, Alade Police station and chieftains of All Progressives Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the electorate were encouraged to collect their PCVs and to also be security conscious on the things that happen around them.
Decrying the insecurity in the country and particularly in the local government area, Waheed Ishola, NOA state director, urged security agencies to rise to the occasion by ensuring that lives and properties of residents were secure.
Responding, Udom assured that security personnel would do all within their power to ensure a peaceful environment in the area.
