Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has dissolved all Commissions in the state’s public service with immediate effect.
A statement on Tuesday by the secretary to the state government, (SSG) Musa Umar Ikhilor, listed the affected Commissions to include the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission, the Civil Service Commission, and Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission.
Others are the Edo State Forestry Commission, the House of Assembly Service Commission, the State Audit Service Commission and the Judicial Service Commission. Ikhilor said “Accordingly, all Chairmen and members of the Commissions are advised to handover all Government properties in their possession to the most senior Public Officer in their Commission.
