The three missing Orekoya children ─ Aderomola, 11 months old; Adedamola, 4 and Demola, 6, that were kidnapped by Mary Akinloye who was employed as Nanny about three weeks ago at Surulere area of Lagos State have been found.
Kennet Nwosu, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO who confirmed this to TELL said they were rescued alive and have been kept at Police College, Ikeja. He said they would be in police custody for now for further security actions.
Nwosu said the children were rescued last night at Shasha area of Lagos but refused to mention the particular house in which they were found.
Asked if the kidnappers were apprehended, the Police spokesman simply said, “first thing first. Now that we have been able to rescue the children alive, the next action will be a serious manhunt for the kidnappers.”
There were reports that the three kids were kidnapped by a Nanny that was hired by their parents.
