Nigerian Breweries, manufacturer of Star larger Beer, has announced the launch of its Shine on Nigeria campaign, a television and online commercial to support the Nigerian Super Eagles in the forthcoming World Cup in Brazil.
Walter Drenthe, marketing director of the company, explained that the innovation is to celebrate the passion and pride that Nigerians have for football and to prepare Nigerians for the national team’s victory in Brazil next month.
“We are set to cheer Super Eagles to victory in the World Cup. The innovation will be on communication platforms including the social media, which will play a vital role,” he said.
Drenthe, who disclosed that Star will partner DSTV to bring all matches live to Nigerians added that Star would also use the platform to celebrate the achievement of ex-footballers like Nwakwo Kanu and Austin Jayjay Okocha, former Super Eagles players, who are brand Ambassadors.Follow Us on Social Media
