TELL Communications Limited, publishers of TELL magazine and Broad Street Journal, in partnership with Sojourn Global Services, an innovation organization, is set to hold a Higher Education Forum.
Titled, “Innovate and Lead,” the forum, which holds between Monday, November 10 and Tuesday November, 11, 2014 at the Conference Hall, NICON Luxury Hotel, Abuja, is a non-governmental initiative that seeks long-term sustainable solutions to the numerous challenges facing Nigeria’s higher education.
The forum, which will be attended by over 20 Africa’s top global thought leaders who will share their rich insights, focuses on four cardinal areas in education, namely funding, intellectual partnership, talent capital partnership and infrastructure.
Some of the notable personalities who will grace the event include Ibrahim Shekarau, Minister of Education; Prof. Bart Nnaji, former Minister for Power; Leo-Stan Ekeh Chairman, Zinox Group; Prof. Rahamon Bello, Vice-Chancellor, University of Lagos and Femi Odugbemi, Chief Executive Officer, DV Worx.
Others include Prof. Olufemi Bamiro, Pro-Chancellor, Tai Solarin University of Education; Prof. Julius Okojie, Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission, Prof. Margee Ensign, President, American University of Nigeria; and Prof. Charles Korede Ayo, Vice Chancellor, Covenant University, among many others.
The Forum is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFUND.
The National Higher Education Forum 2014 promises to be the biggest gathering of thought leaders from the academia, the private sector and the media.
