Five pro-Russian advocates have been killed in fresh clashes with the Ukrainian forces in the South-eastern city of Mariupol, Ukraine.
Irina Voropaeva, spokeswoman for the pro-Russian camp, disclosed this on Wednesday.
Voropaeva said the Ukrainian forces detained 15 other people in the violence, which occurred last night.
Voropaeva also said that the activists have decided to abandon the Mariupol City Council building.
The clashes occurred as Ukrainian forces seek to regain control of administrative buildings earlier snatched by pro-Russian separatists in over 12 towns and cities across the region.
