14 Escape Death in Lagos Accident

Not less than 14 persons narrowly escaped death in the morning hours of Friday as a car rammed into a commercial bus around the Seliat bus stop area, along Egbeda-Idimu road, Lagos State.

The accident involving a sports car and a commercial bus, popularly called Danfo saw many of the passengers of the bus sustaining various degrees of injury.

Ebunoluwa Oladitan, one of the survivors who narrate her ordeal to TELL said the car, which was coming from the opposite direction, skidded over the road-dividing pavement before colliding with the oncoming bus.

The driver whose name could not be ascertained, insisted that he was not sleeping, but just saw some dark flashes over his eyes and suddenly found himself on the other lane of the ever busy road.

Although, the sport car was damaged beyond repairs, no lives were lost in the accident.
