A newly declassified CIA document has surfaced, claiming that in 1988, U.S. intelligence operatives used remote viewing to locate the legendary Ark of the Covenant. But the findings are more bizarre than expected.

The report suggests the Ark is hidden underground in the Middle East—and is guarded by supernatural entities wielding an unknown power.

On December 5, 1988, a highly trained remote viewer was tasked with an experiment using astral projection, a method developed by Ingo Swann to explore distant locations without physical travel. The subject had no prior knowledge of the target but began describing a location consistent with historical descriptions of the Ark’s possible resting place.

He sensed the presence of mosque domes, Arabic-speaking individuals, and a hidden underground chamber that was dark, wet, and heavily fortified. As he ventured deeper, he reported encountering a wall of mummies seemingly placed as a form of spiritual or supernatural protection.

Next to his sketch of the scene, the session notes contained an ominous question: Watched by whom?

When asked to describe the object at the center of the vision, the remote viewer identified it as a container made of wood, gold, and silver, decorated with seraphim—celestial beings often associated with divine protection. He perceived another smaller container hidden within it and concluded that its purpose was connected to ceremony, memory, resurrection, and knowledge far beyond human understanding.

But the most chilling revelation came when he attempted to access it. The Ark, he reported, could not be opened—at least, not by just anyone. The container was protected by unknown entities and could only be unlocked when the “correct time” arrived.

Any unauthorized attempt to force it open would result in the destruction of the intruder by the Ark’s guardians through the use of an incomprehensible power. The session notes recorded ominous impressions from the viewer: “Forbidden,” “Protected,” “Anguish,” “Horror,” “Terror,” “Burned.”
By 10:45 AM, the experiment ended, and the subject returned to his physical body.

The CIA’s assessment of the session was that “Viewer 032 attained excellent site contact.” The document does not confirm whether further action was taken following this discovery, nor does it disclose the exact location of the Ark. But if this report is to be believed, the greatest biblical artifact in history is not only real—it remains hidden, guarded by forces beyond human comprehension.

The question now remains: Did the CIA truly locate the Ark? And if so, who—or what—is protecting it?
