Olusoga Olusanya, the abducted Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State has been released.
Olusanya was reportedly kidnapped by four gunmen on Monday evening while returning from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, FUNAAB, where he served as an external invigilator at the ongoing postgraduate examination.
He was said to have been waylaid at the bad portion of the Odogbolu-Ijebu- Ode-Ore- Benin expressway along the multiple bridge area, in Ososa, Odogbolu Local Government.
The kidnappers also captured his driver but later dropped him by the roadside at Odogbolu.
As at the time of filling this report, the circumstances leading to the release of the deputy Vice Chancellor was yet unclear.
