Respected Nollywood filmmaker, Amaka Igwe is dead. She passed on last night April 28, after suffering an asthma attack.
Amaka who is the founder of Amaka Igwe Studios and Top FM Radio was the creator of popular TV soaps like Checkmate, and others like; Violated, Nneka The Pretty Serpent and Fuji House of Commotion.
The national award winner, who hails from Obinagu in Enugu, is survived by her husband and children.
