South African and Nigerian artists continued their stronghold on the continent’s streaming landscape, securing the majority of the chart positions, while a few international stars also made the cut. Leading the pack is “Abantwana Bakho” by South African hitmakers DJ Maphorisa and Xduppy, which cemented its status as a continental anthem in 2025.
