A trailer loaded with goods is currently on fire at the Sapade area of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway according to eyewitnesses.
Elsewhere, on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, a red car also went up in flames around the Ogudu area of Lagos at about 10.30am on Monday.
Similarly, another accident occurred around the NSCE Quarry site along the ever busy Lagos Ibadan expressway on Monday when a petrol tanker fell, spilling its content.
These accidents have now led to traffic gridlocks on the ever-busy expressway.
Men of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, are currently trying to ensure the free flow of traffic.
Firefighters were however not at the scenes of the accidents as at the time of filing this report.
