The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, on Friday honoured President Goodluck Jonathan as the Grand Commander of Nigerian Students, GCNS.
The students’ association conferred the title on President Jonathan during a courtesy visit to the presidential villa, Abuja.
At the event, Yinka Gbadebo, NANS President presented the plaque of honour to the president after his investiture. The president was also presented with a certificate of conferment.
Also present at the event were Nyesom Wike, minister of education, Jude Imagwe, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth’s and Student’s Matters, some past and present leaders of NANS, and some members of NANS.
