In a startling revelation that has sent shockwaves across Nigeria, the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Atiku Abubakar Isah, has accused Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, of orchestrating his abduction and assault following his refusal of a ₦100 million bribe.​

In a video circulating on social media, Atiku Abubakar Isah claims that on April 15, he was forcibly taken, stripped naked, and severely beaten. He alleges that the assault was a consequence of his steadfast refusal to accept a bribe intended to sway his support towards the current administration.

Isah further asserts that the Managing Director of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) was complicit in the scheme, coercing him into making a televised statement renouncing his position as NANS President.​

“I was kidnapped by Seyi Tinubu after I rejected a ₦100 million bribe,” Atiku Abubakar Isah stated in the video.

He added that the perpetrators recorded his ordeal, threatening to release the footage to tarnish his reputation.

Isah also claimed that Seyi Tinubu assured his associates that any repercussions could be mitigated through influence over law enforcement agencies.​

These allegations have sparked widespread outrage, with many Nigerians demanding a thorough investigation into the matter. As of now, there has been no official response from Seyi Tinubu or the NTA regarding the accusations.​
