After a series of protests and calls from Nigerians, Muhammed Abubakar, the Inspector General of Police has ordered the release of Naomi Nyadar, the Chibok woman leader.
Nyadar was released to her husband this afternoon in Abuja.
Inspite of that, Oby Ezekwesili, Former Education Minister, maintained that Nigerians need an explanation on what she described as “an injury to the woman’s right.”
She expressed concern over how the woman can undergo such a repression for protesting.
Efforts at rescuing the kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls still continue as different bodies continue to hold meetings and rallies concerning the issue.
