Nigerians In France Hold Rally For Jonathan, Wike

In an effort to drum-up support for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan and the People’s Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, some Nigerians recently held a rally in Paris, France.

Ukrakpo Henry, Coordinator of Wike Diaspora Campaign Group in France, in a statement, said the group had closely monitored political developments in the country, saying that the re-election of President Jonathan will take the nation to a greater height.

“Nigerians in France had a rally in the city of Paris to mobilise support for the re-election of President Jonathan and Mr Wike. The Wike Diaspora Campaign Group enjoins all Nigerians at home to vote for the duo of Jonathan and Wike for president and governor respectively,” Henry said.

He added that, “President Jonathan deserves another chance. Jonathan’ administration diligently implemented its agenda for national transformation in priority areas, that include, the expansion of national infrastructure, agriculture development and education.”
