Organisers Set For 2015 Hotel-Tourism Investment Conference

All is now set for the 2015 edition of the Nigerian Hotel and Tourism Investment Conference. Brian Efa,managing partner Jonel Hospitality Consuting,the organiser of the 3-day event,announced this on Wednesday in Lagos. He said all arrangements are now in place for the international conference  billed for  November 25th. “We are now more than ready. Our speakers have all confirmed their attendace,all logistics are in order.There will be 21 speakers,6 break-out sessions,10 general sessions and as at today we can confirm 15 foreign participants”. According to Efa,the conference aims to bring international hotel and regional industry experts together to didcuss and debate the changing landscape and to help indentify intelligent and tardeted investment opportunities in Nigeria. “It is high time we gave more attention to tourism and hospitality. The industry is labour intensive and will create more jobs and revenue for the government. “Efa said. Corrorating him,Thelma Bello,co-sponsor of the event said there are more to hotel and tourism industry, “what our goverments need is the will and commitment. The event which will hold at the Intercontinenetal hotel,Lagos,will drew many local and international stakeholders in the hospitality and tourism industry as well as representatives from state and federal government. Topics to discuss at the conference include,Government Role in Tourism Development-Perspective from States,Overcoming Human Capital Challenge-Recruitment Training and Retention,Role of Technology in Hotel Development among others.
