Olatubosun Oyintiloye, a House of Assembly Member-elect representing Obokun constituency, Osun State, has called on residents of his constituency and the state as a whole to give back to the society through intervention in the area of health among others, in order to assist the government.
He made the call during a visit to the operation centre of the free medical treatment and surgical operations for over 200 beneficiaries that was put together by Cedio Rural Medical Outreach Ministry, Lagos, at Ibokun Comprehensive Health Centre, Ibokun.
Oyintiloye said the intervention has gone a long way to ameliorate the health challenges people face, as well as the burden on him as the representative of the people. He further said the interventions would help the government to actualize its goals in other areas.
“There is no way government can do everything, but intervention like this from well-meaning Nigerians will go a long way to assist the people,” he said while adding that “the present administration of Rauf Aregbesola is doing so much in the area of health to make our people live healthy, even in-spite of limited resources, but medical intervention like this is a plus to what the government is doing.”
While commending the Medical Outreach for their commitment to the healthy living of the people, Oyintiloye said he would continue to support and embrace such similar interventions from whoever offers it.
