Folu Adeboye, pastor and wife of Enoch Adeboye, general overseer, the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has urged the graduating students of Christ The Redeemer’s College, CRC, Sagamu, Ogun State, to cleave to God in order to succeed in their endeavours.
Adeboye who is also the Mother-in-Israel and director, Teens and vice president, RCCG, Education, said this at the 14th valedictory service of the school held on Sunday, July 12. “Tell Him to others and you will find peace and favour,” she assured.
The school graduated 55 students who have been christened the Class of Sufficient Grace 2015. Temilade Adekoye and Oyakhire Olohije emerged the valedictorians with 83.4 and 79.3 per cent overall academic performance. The duo in their speeches thanked the school and their parents for supporting them and their mates. They however noted that it was challenging achieving the feat.
The two valedictorians with other graduands who distinguished themselves in some subjects as well as in character received different gifts including cash prizes and books. The 55 graduands were also presented with scrolls, which consist of their diplomas, testimonials and skill acquisition certificates.
Antoinette Omo-Osagie, the school principal, charged the graduands to make discipline their watchword and to remain good ambassadors of the school. Ben Akabueze, pastor and former commissioner of Economic Planning and Budget, Lagos State, also urged the graduating students to believe in God and remain connected to Him to get to their desired zenith in life.
The parents, guests, pastors, teaching and non-teaching staff of CRC celebrated the feat with the graduands. There were also prayer sessions and musical presentations.
