Cristiano Ronaldo, former Manchester United striker, has described Manchester United’s loan signing of Radamel Falcao as a fantastic piece of business that will give Manchester United an edge over other teams.
While speaking to reporters, Ronaldo said his former club had done well by signing the Columbian striker.
“He is a very good player, I think Manchester United have done well to sign him. We are talking about a top player here and a fantastic signing. Manchester United have not had a good start with only two points, so the squad needed someone of Falcao’s quality,” Ronaldo said.
Falcao is Manchester United’s sixth major signing after Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo, Angel Di Maria and Daley Blind in the summer transfer window.
