UniAbuja Shut Indefinitely

The Governing Council of the University Of Abuja has shutdown the institution indefinitely following students protest over the ongoing indefinite strike embarked upon by members of the academic staff union of the school.

A statement announcing the shutdown of the school was signed by Mohammed Modibo, the University’s registrar. The statement added that James Adelabu, Vice Chancellor had on behalf of the senate approved the closure of the institution until further notice. 

The statement also directed the students to vacate hostels and university premises immediately, adding that further developments would be communicated to them.
