An explosion this evening rocked a football viewing centre in Damaturu, Yobe State at about 8pm.
The blast was believed to have been targeted at football fans who had gathered to watch the Brazil versus Mexico match at the ongoing Brazil 2014 World Cup.
Reports say the explosion recorded several casualties while some of the victims have been taken to the Sani Abacha Specialist Hospital, Damaturu.
