The federal government has announced the release of the 2014 admission list into Federal Unity Colleges across the country.
Announcing the result, Nyesom Wike, Minister of Education directed all prospective candidates to check their admission status online at http://www.fmeinterviewtest.com. The Minister stated that merit would henceforth be a major requirement in admitting students into the 104 Federal Unity Colleges.
“This successful conduct of the aptitude test is a step towards enthroning merit in our Federal Unity Colleges. We have re-positioned these schools in terms of facilities and quality of teachers, hence subscription for placements have increased tremendously.” The Federal Government early this year re-introduced aptitude test in the admission process for the Unity Colleges to ensure only qualified candidates are admitted into the schools.
Wike also said that from reports he received from independent monitors of the Aptitude Tests across the country, the tests were peaceful on account of measures put in place by the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Examination Council, NECO.
