Ogunyemi Elemure, popular Ado Ekiti-based traditional musician, is dead.
The late Elemure was initially rumoured to have died in March due to complications arising from diabetes but he later came out to debunk such claims blaming it on his rivals in the music industry.
He said although he was diabetic, he had been managing his health very well and had
been coping well with life.
The folk singer who turned 67 on August 25, 2014, reportedly died in his Ado Ekiti residence last night. The actual cause of his death has not been disclosed yet.
