Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, The Arole Oodua and Ooni of Ife , is set to install the new Sooko Omonigba of the Source.
Omooba Bamikole Osuolale Adediwura of the Ojaja family Agbedegbede Royal compound in Giesi ruling house, Ile Ife is the new Sooko-designate.
According to a release signed by Lateef Akinborode, Public Relations Officer, Ife Solidarity Front, ISF, Lagos state the choice of Omooba Bamikole Adediwura was apt ,going by his family right, pedigree, commitment to Ile Ife cause and a good career in the Federal Civil Service.
The installation is billed for Saturday 26th June, 2021 at the Palace Ground, Enuwa ,Ile Ife.
Omooba Adediwura has been a grassroots mobiliser and current President, Ife Solidarity Front, ISF, Lagos.
In his student days, Omooba Adediwura led the National Ife Descendants Students Association, NIDSA, in the early 90s, where he demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities ,bringing Ife sons and daughters in all higher institutions across Nigeria together for common goal of both cultural renaissance and intellectual excellence.
He is currently a Senior official in the Federal Civil Service.
The Sooko chieftaincy title is reserved for the Omooba ( Prince) of the royal family of Ile Ife. It is a prerequisite to ascend the throne of Arole Oodua.
