The results of the Presidential and National Assembly election in all the 33 LGAs in Oyo State are still being collated and announced at the State’s INEC office in Agodi-Gate, Ibadan.
The event is presided over and supervised by Prof Ayobami Salami, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics,Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-Ife,Osun State.
The exercise, which is moving at an extremely slow pace began with Oyo-West. According to Olamosu Afeeza, the collation officer of the LGA, APC had 16431 and PDP 5381 out of 21812 votes cast and 2,401 votes were rejected.
In Atsibo LGA, APC:9090, PDP:6392. Total votes cast are 17,630, and rejected votes are 12,029.
In Saki-West, which has 11 wards, AA-39,ACPN-46,AD-67,ADC-54,APA-170,APC-7208,CPP-1000,HDP-11,KOWA-12,NCP-31,PDP-5368,PPN-39,UDP-6,UPP-40 Total valid votes is 13,191 and total votes cast is 14064.
