Ibeju Lekki, Lagos — The fast-growing logistics and real estate hub of Ibeju Lekki is set to take another leap forward with the unveiling of a striking design proposal for the Truck Hub Administrative Block. Developed in 2023 by architect Oluwatunde Adegbenro, the project redefines industrial architecture by blending operational efficiency with modern design and sustainability.
The Administrative Block is envisioned as the “nerve center” of the Truck Hub — a facility positioned to manage the rising volume of heavy-duty vehicle operations spurred by the Lekki Deep Sea Port, Dangote Refinery, and the Lekki Free Trade Zone. With clean lines, bold facades, and expansive glazing, the design projects transparency and order, creating a distinct architectural identity while remaining in harmony with the hub’s rugged industrial environment.

Internally, the layout places workflow and collaboration at its core. Workspaces, meeting rooms, and support areas are arranged for maximum efficiency, while sustainable strategies such as natural ventilation and daylighting reduce long-term energy demands — an attractive prospect for investors seeking eco-conscious developments.
The design also prioritizes accessibility and circulation, with landscaping and security-enhanced pathways enabling seamless movement between the Administrative Block and surrounding truck operations. By combining safety, functionality, and human-centered design, the proposal proves that industrial infrastructure can go beyond utility to become a model of modern development.
For real estate investors and developers, the project underscores how logistics infrastructure in Nigeria is rapidly evolving to meet global standards. For residents and businesses, it represents another milestone in Ibeju Lekki’s transformation into an international economic powerhouse — a corridor now home to multibillion-dollar projects reshaping West Africa’s commercial future.
