In a shocking discovery that has sent waves of fear and outrage across Anambra State, the government has demolished Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, also known as “La Cruise Hotel,” in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area.

The building, situated along the busy Onitsha-Owerri Expressway, was revealed to be a hideout for kidnappers, complete with a shrine and over 30 partitioned graves on its top floor.

Acting on credible intelligence, security operatives stormed the hotel and uncovered the gruesome evidence of ritualistic activities and the inhuman treatment of kidnapped persons.

The operation exposed the structure as a sinister hub where kidnappers held victims, likely for ransom or ritual purposes, in an environment designed for cruelty and secrecy.

The disturbing finds sheds light on the high number of kidnapping cases reported in the Oba axis in recent years. The sophistication of the criminal network operating from the hotel highlights the calculated efforts put into their heinous activities.

Eyewitnesses at the scene described the building as a “house of horror,” with chilling details of the partitioned graves and ritualistic items found on the premises. Many expressed horrors at the scale of the atrocities believed to have occurred there.

The Anambra State Government, in adherence to the state’s Homeland Security Law, wasted no time in ordering the immediate demolition of the building.

Governor Charles Soludo, through his spokesperson, reiterated his administration’s zero-tolerance policy for crime and vowed to eradicate all criminal hideouts in the state.

“This is a clear message to anyone involved in crime or aiding and abetting criminals: there will be no safe haven in Anambra State. We are fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of our people,” the governor stated.

Residents were urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to security agencies as the state government intensified its crackdown on criminal activities.

The demolition of Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites serves as a stark warning to criminals while offering hope to citizens that the government is leaving no stone unturned in its mission to restore peace and order.

As the rubble of the so-called hotel remains, the scars of its dark past linger, serving as a reminder of the importance of vigilance and the collective fight against evil in society.
