A three-day summit on countering violent extremism has commenced in the United States.
Representatives from around the world are attending the gathering, which follows shooting incidents in Denmark, France and Australia.
At the commencement of the summit, Joe Biden, US Vice President said it was imperative to engage with immigrants who may be radicalised because of marginalisation.
“Societies have to provide an affirmative alternative for immigrant communities,” he said.
The U.S said it believes Europe is mostly susceptible to terror attacks because immigrants there are often less well integrated into the society.Follow Us on Social Media
