Aleem Murtala
A lawmaker representing Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency of Oyo State, Temitope Olatoye has been shot dead.
Sugar as he was popularly calls attacked by suspected political thugs on his way from his village where he had gone to cast his votes for the governorship and State Assembly elections.
He was the Oyo Central senatorial district candidate of the Action Democratic Party, ADP, in the recently concluded National Assembly election.
The lawmaker was reportedly hit in the eye and was rushed to the University College Hospital, Ibadan, where he reportedly died.
