Sao Paulo – Ahead of the Super Eagles second match slated for Saturday, members of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, NFSC have headed for Cuiaba, host town of the Nigeria versus Bosnia/Herzegovina clash.

This is coming four days after the shock treatment in Curitiba where they were barred by FIFA security officials from entering the Arena Da Baixada stadium, venue of Nigeria’s first World Cup match against Iran, with their musical instruments.

In going to Cuiaba however, the Supporters Club members hope that what happened to them the last time would not repeat itself, and so, as usual, they would be travelling with their drums and trumpets that have become second nature to them.

Although the musical instruments were seized in Curitiba by security officials they were later returned to them at the end of the match.

At the moment, the Rauf Ladipo-led supporters club has protested to FIFA about the embarrassment at Curitiba, and hope such would not repeat itself.

A member of the Supporters Club who confirmed the despatch of the protest letter to FIFA, said he looks forward to drumming and dancing for his country again particularly as Cameroon supporters were allowed to use their own trumpets in their match against Croatia on Tuesday.

“It’s tomorrow we would know whether there’s more to it than meets the eye,” he told the magazine.
