Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter, Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru, popularly known as Reminisce, has joined the list of Samsung West Africa brand ambassadors.
The company says it intends to leverage on Reminisce in its product advertising for entry-level mobile phones.
Emmanuel Revmatas, Samsung Electronics West Africa’s Director for Information Technology and Mobile, says the rapper represents the values that Samsung has stood for over the years.
“The Samsung brand stands for quality innovation, change, discovery, self-expression and excellence. These qualities are epitomized by Reminisce, whose quality and depth of work as well as versatility as an artiste have endeared him to Nigerians,” he said.
Revmatas added that, “We are very proud to have him endorse our new entry-level mobile phones. We want to further connect with our customers at all touch points, especially through music, which is one of the passions of people worldwide.”
